How we rank. Who we are.

Ranking criteria

Every franchise is scored on the same five factors, drawn from real FDD filings:

1. Total investment range — the real all-in number from Item 7, not the franchise fee alone.
2. Fee transparency — clear royalties, ad fund fees, and renewal terms in the FDD.
3. Unit economics — Item 19 financial performance representations, where disclosed.
4. Support & training — what the franchisor actually provides, per Item 11.
5. Growth & stability — unit counts, closures, and transfer rates from Item 20.

Figures are re-verified against current FDDs. Stale pages get flagged, not silently left up.
